Build;; Reese is not a big girl with a height of 5.5” and a weight of 120 lbs. Naturally with a weight and height like that she’s a lean/slim girl but when times are tough on her she leans more towards being thin. Reese is not very muscled but her stomach is tight and she does have strength in her arms. Still she is a lot stronger than most people would give her credit for. She has all the curves she needs to make both guys and girls eye her when she walks past.

* Losing her baby. Only Haven and Dane know about it. Haven was there when it happened and it didn’t take long for Dane to find out.

Personality ;;
Reese has always been the curious one. Especially when things are forbidden
or dangerous she wants to try it and experience it herself even if it just a time thing. Aside to that she sometimes is a little more naïve than had been good for her. She believes in giving people a second chance, and a third one and a fourth one which hasn’t worked out the best for her at times. It was a trait she had learn to live with.

She’s always there for her friends 24 hours a day. Being as sweet as she is she always tries to find the good in people even when they don’t deserve it. This has caused her to be in a few bad relationship that made her insecure and hurt her pretty deeply. Also she can be a bit shy at times which she really can’t stand about herself. Reese has kinda two sides, one being the sweet and shy one and the other one being the mysterious one. She never told anyone everything about her which she thought always kept things interesting. She loves surprises although sometimes she would wish they happened a little more frequent.

Reese seems to fall for the bad-boy type or the bad-girl type seeing as she likes both boys and girls. In the end people always seem to hurt her and/or leave her which has made her believe that she does not deserve love. This has given her low self esteem on the area of love, making her believe she wasn’t good enough to be loved. That she was she just a girl people liked to have fun with and nothing more.

She is too naïve for her own good and that has led her to get into trouble lots of times. Reese wants to believe in the good side of people a little too much that at times people make use of that in a wrong way. Also she often forgets to take care of herself, being busy with making sure other people are happy.

Reese is too curious for her own good, not to mention how stubborn she can be about something. When she has something in her head it is very hard to make her change her mind. When Reese can’t handle something she grabs to alcohol –and sometimes drugs- to try and make her worries/pain go away.

* Singing softly to herself when she’s busy cleaning or creating a new clothing item on her dress models at home

strengths:
* She is a fighter. Reese will fight for what she wants till the bitter end if she needs to.
* Protective over the ones she cares about/loves. Even if it means placing her own life on the line.
* A big heart. Reese is able to give out a lot of love even when she does not receive as much back. She cares easily for others.
* Loyal. She’s very loyal to the people who she considers her friends and family. Never will she betray your trust but that also means she expects the same kind of loyalty back from you.
* She speaks her mind. Reese is not afraid to let others know what she thinks or feels about something.

weaknesses:
* Naïve. Reese believes in the good of people and is the kind of girl who gives you a second chance, a third one and so on. She really does believe people can change but often mistakes that with ‘wanting’ to change. In most cases people just take advantage of that.
* Alcohol. When life gets hard or when Reese gets upset / scared she grabs to alcohol to make herself leave reality for a while instead of trying to deal with it all.
* Adventurous. It often gets her in trouble.
* Caring too much. Being so busy making sure her friends/family are happy that she forgets to take care of herself as well.
* Bad ass guys since she just simply can’t resist them. Reese knows they are no good for her but she can’t help herself. Something inside of her still believes one day one of them will truly want her for the person she is rather than just for her looks.

History;;
During the first eight years of her life Reese lived in New Zealand with her parents James and Victoria Mackenzie. Her father was a lawyer with his own firm and her mother was the owner of a fashion magazine. They had a mansion of a home, a huge pool in the backyard and pretty much everything that was supposed to make you live a comfortable life. Comfortable it was but it was anything but a cosy and warm family home.

Her parents, both work alcoholics and career pursuers were more away from home then spending time in it. Which lead to Reese being raised mostly by the maids, the nanny and teacher who home schooled her. To her parents Reese had been –as harsh as it was- an accident but since everyone had a baby they decided to have one as well instead of getting an abortion. Having a great career and be a parent at the same was good for the social status, or so it seemed.

When she turned ten the family moved to Europe for better career opportunities. During the holidays and the summers she spend her time either alone at her parents home or with friends. Never was Reese part of a loving home as her parents for example wrote her a cheque for her birthday to get herself a present instead of going out to dinner together or something fun like that.

The only person she can rely on as family is Dane Matthews. When she was little he appeared one day and told her they were real family. That she was the only one left of the old Matthews family (besides her mother but Dane wasn’t very keen on Victoria). He showed her their family tree and explained to her that through blood they were very much related. Reese was excited about this but never told her parents of Dane’s existence. He became her secret friend, like a big brother she could turn to when she was upset or when she was scared or alone. When Reese grew older and started to ask questions about how he never seemed to become older or why she couldn’t tell her parents about him, Dane finally explained what he really was. A vampire. Being still a child, Reese was for more excited about this than that she was scared like any normal person would. Cause of this she was taught about the supernatural by Dane and Reese knows a lot about what creeps around in the dark. However she never changed her mind about Dane or her feelings towards him. She loves him like a brother and wouldn’t want to miss him for the world.

Still, most of the time her parents found her to be standing in their way or tried to push her into a certain direction that would make them look good instead of a direction that was good for Reese herself. The only thing she back than could count on was for her allowance to be wired to her account each month but she knows she can’t count on her parents for anything else. For a girl who can buy anything she wants Reese only craves two things she knows she will never have: her parents love and her parents being proud of her. Right now they are not a perfect family but in the end James and Victoria are still her parents. Losing them too is something she really wants to keep from happening so Reese works hard to try and make her parents proud of her.

So Reese rolled into a fashion program at college in an attempt to 'earn' her parents love. She loved fashion so in a way it wasn't so weird for her to pursue that path. Still, she was the kind of girl who gathered a lot of people around her and she did have friends she could count on. But Reese was a loving person, she needed someone to love, to take care off but with her liking the bad boy type that did not always work out that well. Right until one day she met Jake when he visited a small bar where she worked for fun. He was sitting at the counter and for some reason he looked sad. So, doing what bartenders did, she got him a drink and asked him if he was okay. How cliché it might sound, for the both of them it was love at first sight at that very moment. For two years they dated and Reese had never been more happy than she was with Jake. She really believed he was the one for her, that they would get married and end up having a house filled with kids.

Everything seemed to be going well for a change until that one night, that should have been the best of her life, changed everything. Jake had rented a luxurious hotel room and during a romantic walk in the park he had asked her to marry him. Reese had said yes without needing a second to think about it and to celebrate it they went for ice cream down town. Something they both loved and had made their habit, eating ice cream, when they had something to celebrate.

While they were walking hand in hand down the street that lead to the centre of the town the last thing Reese could remember before all hell broke loose were Jake’s brown eyes looking at her and a smile on his face that made her heart speed up. The next thing she knew she was sitting on the ground, her dress covered in his blood and Jake laying in her arms. Rocking back and forth, holding him, tears were running down her face. Never would she forget how he looked at her...telling her that he loved her right before he died.

Jake had died while protecting her when they suddenly got caught in a fight between some fugitive criminals and half the police force. Bullets had been flying everywhere and when Jake saw some kid pointing his gun at Reese, he had jumped in front of her to protect her. When she was holding him in her arms, watching him die all she could do was tell him she loved him while tears ran down her cheeks. The ones responsible have never been caught but even if Reese isn’t a murderer she would personally kill the son of a bitch responsible for killing her fiancé.

After his death Reese got sucked into a dark pit, especially when she found out that she was two months pregnant with Jake’s baby. That small joy was only able to last a few days cause Reese miscarried and lost her baby. With the help of her friends and Dane (her parents didn't care much and though she'd better get an abortion) Reese managed to get back on her feet. Eventually she graduated from college with a fashion degree and became the designer for her mothers new fashion company. Reese owns part of the company but she doesn't want to live the famous life. Instead she merely designs and lets her mother deal with everything else. She knows what a life in the spotlight could bring her and she is afraid she will end up becoming like her mother: an icequeen and a bitch of a woman.

So instead Reese designs lines, cashes her cheque every month and lives happily with her best friend in a beautiful home. Right now this is enough for her, simply because she is happy. However, Reese is ambitious so who knows. Maybe she’ll own her own store or have her own company in a few years?
