The door was in sight. The one door in this massive mansion she made a concious effort to avoid going near, in fear of meeting the man who inhabited it, and now she had to go in there. Pure fear would be the best way to describe what Poppy was feeling. She wouldn't lie about it, Demitrius terrified her, more than anything else had in her entire life. The idea of being alone in a room with him was making her feel sick to her stomach, and she didn't even know why he wanted to see her in the first place, which didn't make things any better. What if she'd done something wrong? She wasn't aware of having broken any rules, but who knew when the man would flip?
”The Lord wishes to see you”... The more she thought about it, the more she worried. The message hadn't given her any clues to why he would want to see her, but Poppy could only assume it wasn't going to be good, and the girl she'd been talking to at the time hadn't helped that idea much at all. All she'd given was a confused frown, a slight grimace and then responded to the slim girl's pleading looks with ”You're on your own here, toots.” That response had given her absolutely no reassurance, and with each step closer she got to her destination, she managed convince herself a little more that she'd done something wrong. so by the time she finally arrived outside that door, she was persuaded that Demitrius was going to, quite literally, going to rip her apart, and she had started shaking violently.
She wasn't sure what would be worse – to run away, and face the man's fury later, or go in and face it now? After a few minutes of considering both options, it was decided that if she delayed the meeting much longer, the Lycan Lord would be furious, and probably considerably more ruthless. Digging her nails into the palms of her hands to stop the shaking, the blonde raised her hand, paused for a second to compose herself, and knocked gently on the door. Even if she was going to die, being polite couldn't cause any extra damage.
On receiving a response, she entered the room, hands folded in front of her and eyes fixed firmly on the floor. As she spoke, her voice shook slightly. ”You wanted to see me, sir?”

HE FEEDS ON FEAR POISONS THE TRUTH TO GAIN THEIR FAITH TO LEAD THE WAY TO A WORLD OF DECAY.
HE RULES YOUR HEART HE WILL SELL YOUR SOUL TO THE GRAVE NO HESITATION HE'LL MAKE HE BELONGS TO THE DARK.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Demetrius was bent over a pile of papers. Well, they were actually floor plans of an old abandoned research facility and the floor plans of the Vampire Mansion. His Generals were also pouring over the floorplans, trying to come up with something useful. Neither one of them wanted to dissapoint their Lord, in fear that he'd rip the title of General from them. Of course he wouldnt, these guys where his best right hand men (and women), it would be like inviting a Lycan to chew his arm off, something he would never do. There were also quite a lot of files on the large desk, most about his own Lycan's. One lay open near the Vampire Manor. Poppy's. However, Demetrius wasnt looking at that right now, he was looking at the large oak clock standing in the corner of the room. His silvery eyes narrowed.
"I could go and see where she is, My Lord." One of the Generals asked, Demetrius just shook his head. she'd arrive when she arrived but if she was much longer there would be hell to pay. Demetrius was not patient by nature, and he hated to be kept waiting. Of course, fear wasnt an emotion Demetrius knew all that well. Sure, he'd watched others feel it, smelt it on them but he seldom felt it himself. Turning away from the desk, he picked up the file about Poppy and set it back in the overlarge cupboard. To be completely honest, over the years that Poppy had been with them, Demetrius hadnt really spoken to her that much, he hadnt really been around her. Though he'd watched her. Sure he had, she proved that she had potential and of course, he knew about her past.
There was a faint knock on the door. Quiet, like a mouse rapping on oak. Demetrius rolled his eyes. Obviously this girl was nervous, he could smell it through the door. That stench of fear. "Enter." He called as the door opened slowly and the blond stepped through. Muttering something to him. The edges of his mouth turned up slighly, well he couldnt expect them all to be brave around him could he? Of course he knew he terrified her, he terrified most of them and yet he didnt know why. He looked after them, saved their hides more than once and they were still scared of him. "Yes I did." He turned to his Generals. "Clear those away then leave." They nodded, knowing better than to disobey an order, no matter how small.
He stayed where he was until the Generals had left, studying the girl who kept looking at the floor. She didnt say anything else, most young Lycans drove him crazy with their endless questions but she obviously preferred the silence. Suited him. Walking over to her, using his index finger he tilted her chin up so his eyes mets hers. He had one brow raised though in amusement. "You are not in trouble if that is what you're afraid of." Turning around he walked back to the lovely chair in his room which nobody sat in but him, stopped short and picked up two crystal glasses and poured them both a scotch. Nodding to one of the chairs in the room, he pushed the glass into Poppy's hand before sitting down himself. "I have been watching you train. You have good moves and alright reflexes. But unfortunatly you are not pushing yourself as hard as you could, ergo are not achieving what you could if you did." Riddles? Maybe. But he was good at that. "I would like to see your full potential. I would enjoy seeing what real damage you could do and therefor I am offering to train you myself. Those puppies you train with will never get you to amount to anything. Training with me, if you have as much potential as I think you do, you may one day join the ranks of my Generals." He took a large swig of his scotch then placed the glass on the table. "Do not make the mistake in thinking you have to accept, this is free to refuse. I run a hard training scheme, you will get tired and I probably will hurt you but you will also be stronger for it. When I think you are ready I will take you out with me to hunt. It will be hard, tiring and painful." He was always honest with his Lycans, well... almost always. "Do you accept? Or do you need permission of that female friend of yours first?"
